Driving License
1st time applying for Driving License
·
Buy a Form-C from the Photostat shop outside the SP/DSP Office.
·
Go to Doctor for medical fitness certificate.
·
Now go to office of traffic police & submit your FORM-C on
counter along with the copy of your NIC.
·
Provide all your necessary details i-e your Name, Father Name,
NIC card number, Permanent address, Present address & your
identification mark to the person sitting on Counter#2.
·
After providing the details on counter#2 than go to the person
sitting on counter#3. He will take your Picture for Driving
license and also your thumb impression.
·
The person sitting on counter#3 will give u the print out of the
details provided by you than take that detail to window #1 and
submit PKR 130+PKR15 transaction charges.
·
After that attach the slip of payment deposited on the print out
of details & now go to counter#4 in room#1 and submit that
paper. The person sitting on counter#4 will issue you
learning slip of 6 months duration.
After the duration (6 Months) of learning slip is finished:

When you are issued with the learning slip visit the office of
traffic police after 6 months when the time period of learning
slip is finished.

Now go to room#3 and submit your learning slip to clerk of
traffic police after that you have to go to room#1 & there on
counter#1 you have issue your test slip.

On every Monday theoretical as well as particle test is
conducted for LTV LICENSE in the office of traffic police and on
every Wednesday there is a practical test for HTV LICENSE in
Police Ground, Police lines.

If theoretical test is fail than u can re-appear after 7days &
if practical test is failed than re-test will be conducted after
45 days.
·
If the theoretical test for LTV is failed than a fine of PKR 100
is charged & on failing the practical test a fine of PKR160is
charged and if the test for HTV is failed than a fine of PKR310
is charged every time.
·
After passing the theoretical + practical for LTV only the fee
of license will be accepted only on Thursdays and for HTV fee
will be accepted only on Friday 09:00am-12:30am.
·
In window#1 or National Bank at Cirular Road (near SP
office) amount for LTV Rs 651/- are to deposited if the
tests are cleared 1st time, otherwise fine will be
added to the amount & at the same place also for HTV PKR1365 are
to be deposited if the test is cleared first time, otherwise the
fine will be added to the amount.

If the fee for License is paid the traffic police clerk will
issue you a hand written slip in which you traffic license id
will be mentioned and you have to bring that slip after 1-1.5
month and collect your license from junior clerk in room#3.
